Artist, residing in Tampere, Finland.

Child of 80´s. I spent my youth in east of Finland but most of my adult life I have been travelling around the world. I was deeply involved with international environmental organization. I participated in actions and protests against nuclear weapons and Trident Submarines in Faslane, Scotland. I was arrested in Beirut, due to our co-operation with Médecins Sans Frontiéres in Lebanon conflict in 2006. I have been arrested or held captive numerous times around the world for my involvements in areas of environment protection, climate protection, animal rights and species protection. I´ve participated against illegal- and piracy fishing and have done numerous whaling surveys and actions against whaling ships. Human rights and humanitarian work in war zones, environmental crises. I have been held captive, or arrested in France, Spain, Greece, Lebanon, United States, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, England, Finland, Scotland, held in deep jungle Military Camp at gun point in Indonesia, and much more.

Maybe few more things worth mentioning.

I was deputy Ranger in Svalbard 1999. My job was to protect scientists from polar bears. I was armed with signal horn, flare gun and a antique bolt action rifle. Incase of polar bear attack or them entering our perimeter, I was to use the horn 1st, if no effect, flare gun and try to take our people to safety. Finally if necessary, to use rifle to protect human lives. Fortunately I never had to use rifle and polar bear sightings were distant and rare.
I witnessed the tragedy of World Trade Center attacks in 2001 while our ship, Rainbow Warrior, was entering the harbor in New York.
I was part of rescuing and relocating African child soldiers 2001 in Djibouti.
My recent involvement with preserving and protecting nature and wildlife was before Covid-19. I was Boat mechanic and engineer on ship called Arctic Sunrise. We sailed west African waters investigating and exposing illegal shark fishing. My job was to drive, maintain, repair and keep our 3 heavy sea going jet boats and 5 inflatable boats with outboard engines in good working condition. I worked mostly on military grade boats and engines. job was difficult, stressing but successful and I was offered continuation to Antarctica. Unfortunately Covid-19 kicked in just when I was about to go. Please read Photo essay which was published in The Guardian and written by my friend S. Cooke. I have travelled and lived in more the 60 countries, my favorite places are my hometown Tampere and my other hometown Amsterdam. I also enjoyed Mediterranean region, Australia and my surfing and yoga paradise in Cape Town, South Africa.
World changed greatly with covid, mine too. I fast found comfort in drawing and my passion to art rekindled. I soon started to produce massive amounts of drawings which evolved into shapes, installations and finally to my first proper and complexed exhibition in Pyynikki, Tampere 2020 -2021.
Since then I have held numerous exhibits, became member of feminist art community, joined womens union and label myself as queerartist, non-binary and genderfluid.
I built my own longboard and started skateboarding and surfskating.
I was accepted as an artist and creator in to Pirkanmaa virtual culture bank.
